Challenge -- Freshly Made Sketches #77

Freshly Made Sketches has another great challenge going and I just had to get in to my craft room and get to work.  I am so happy with these colours.   I really miss Peach Parfait and Poppy Parade.  Speaking of Poppies, I am so in love Pleasant Poppies.
I used black to make the colours pop.  Again I miss the black satin ribbon but I had to pull it out for this card, it is one of my favourite ribbons.

For the Poppy piece I stamped Pleasant Poppies with versamark and used black embossing powder.  I then spritzed the paper with Pumpkin Pie ink and alcohol.  Then I coloured in the poppies with my markers and a water pen.  I embossed the Poppy Parade piece and shimmered the whole card.  "I love shimmer"

  1. I love using my old colors too. It's been a while, so I think I need to go visit with my Pear Pizzazz soon. :) I love your beautiful poppies! The black really makes the other colors pop. Thanks for playing along with us at Freshly Made Sketches!
