Challenge -- Freshly Made Sketches #77

Freshly Made Sketches has another great challenge going and I just had to get in to my craft room and get to work.  I am so happy with these colours.   I really miss Peach Parfait and Poppy Parade.  Speaking of Poppies, I am so in love Pleasant Poppies.
I used black to make the colours pop.  Again I miss the black satin ribbon but I had to pull it out for this card, it is one of my favourite ribbons.

For the Poppy piece I stamped Pleasant Poppies with versamark and used black embossing powder.  I then spritzed the paper with Pumpkin Pie ink and alcohol.  Then I coloured in the poppies with my markers and a water pen.  I embossed the Poppy Parade piece and shimmered the whole card.  "I love shimmer"

  1. I love using my old colors too. It's been a while, so I think I need to go visit with my Pear Pizzazz soon. :) I love your beautiful poppies! The black really makes the other colors pop. Thanks for playing along with us at Freshly Made Sketches!

  2. Great card, love the pop of black. Thanks for playing with us at Freshly Made Sketches!

  3. Oh, this is so pretty! Fabulous use of colors and textures. I love how you just used a section of the stamp for this card. Very well done. Thanks for sharing with us at Freshly Made Sketches!

Thank you so much for your comments they mean the world to me. Have a wonderful day.
