Happy Canada Day to all of my fellow Canadians. Here in Calgary the weather amazing, and the clean up from the flood is well under way. There is a long way to go in some areas and the devastation amazing but what is truly amazing is the way people are volunteering and helping out. Our Stampede will be underway this Friday and our Zoo should be opening soon!
With all that has happened it makes this Canada Day mean that much more!

My bumble bee and giraffe made out well on their hunt for treats too so we are fully stocked in the sugar department. The best news of the day is that it was Snow free! It's really all I ask from mother nature, is to have a snow free Halloween.
