It's the kind of day that is made for a good book and a coffee. Or if you are me, crafting and a chai tea latte! This weather makes me want to start in on Halloween projects. Of course I have been working on those since August, but in my house there can never be enough Halloween décor.
Today I will show you a really simple project made from one single sheet of Designer Series Paper! This year's Stampin' UP Holiday Catalogue has some of my all time favourite Halloween DSP (Witches Brew 132185) and for this project I used one single sheet and made a really fun sign to hang in our entry way.
Witches Brew - Halloween Sign
Here is how I turned this single piece of paper into a fun holiday decoration;
I cut the paper into the sections that it was already divided into on the sheet. I then attached each section to a piece of cardboard with modge podge and attached each bottom piece to the top piece with wire.
The cardboard I used was the sheet of thin cardboard that came with the DSP.
I then sponged in some colour where I wanted a hint of colour and used more Modge Podge over the top of the paper.
Once the Modge dried I sanded some areas, added some Washi Tape, added Rhinestones I had coloured with black sharpie, and ribbon to decorate.
That's it! The rest of the DSP in the package is really fun too, check it out!

Hope you like the sign. Let me know what you think.
